2014 Trend Prediction #4: Cheers to a Beauty-full 2014

Beauty trends change season after season and with them come new styles and fun looks to try. I’ve made my predictions for what trends are actually going to come walking off the runways and into the streets. In 2014, expect to see more short hair, bold lips and understated manicures! Back to Basics In 2013, nail art exploded in a major way from crazy colors to 3D designs showing up everywhere. Just as quick as the nail art extravaganza has boomed, I have a feeling that simple manicures will make a strong comeback. Expect classic French manicures, monotone color and geometrical designs to take the lead:

The Midi The pixie haircut was all the rage in 2013 and short hair is here to stay. If Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Jennifer Lawrence aren’t proof enough that short hair is back, then I predict we’ll see many different variations on the short hairstyle trend. More specifically, I think Karlie Kloss’ short bob will be all the rage in 2014:

Orange is the New Red Usually it’s a red lip that woman can’t live without, but electric orange lips were seen all over the Spring 2014 runways. Expect to see neon tangerine pouts (while avoiding salmon and melon hues):
