2016 ZAPU Team Outing

Last week, our team had the opportunity to take a corporate retreat to a local ropes course at Iron Oaks Environmental Learning Center. The afternoon was filled with fun team building exercises tailored to our agency. From hearing about our company strengths to working as a team for low ropes activities and supporting each other high up in the tree tops, we had a great afternoon learning more about each staff member and walked away excited to carry over those lessons to the workplace.

At the end of our day, our guide asked each of us to share how we summed up in the day in a single word or phrase. Jenn, Zapwater's Senior Vice President used "Climb on" as her phrase to round out the experience saying, "We used it to approve that we were secured by all equipment and ready to climb up the ropes course. I love the sentiment because it means that there was planning and preparation (along with a security check) before moving along in the process. Plus, it embodies what we all aspire to do at Zapwater – grow and move to new heights."
